This food contains a low phosphorus content and a moderate level of high-quality proteins to support kidney function.

Adjusted energy content

The recipe's adjusted energy content allows for smaller portion sizes per meal, which can help compensate for reduced appetite in some cats.

Stimulates appetite

This food features a specific aroma profile and a special dual texture to stimulate your cat's appetite, particularly if they are refusing food. The kibbles are easy to chew, with a soft centre and a crunchy outer layer.

Important note

This product is a veterinary diet from the Veterinary Health Nutrition range by ROYAL CANIN®. It is therefore important that this food is only fed on the recommendation of a veterinary surgeon. This helps ensure that your pet receives exactly the food they need. Any change of food should be made carefully and gradually over a period of 7–10 days. Pay attention to the correct portion size, particularly when combining wet and dry food.

Suitable for mixed feeding
To meet the individual preferences of all cats, ROYAL CANIN® Renal Select is also available as wet food with fine chunks in gravy and three different aroma profiles: chicken (Chicken), beef (Beef) and fish (Fish). It is also available with a mousse texture or as Renal and Renal Special dry food with kibbles in different shapes, textures and aroma profiles.* Mixed feeding provides different textures, which can help stimulate appetite. Wet food has a more intense aroma, and its moisture content helps regulate your pet's water balance. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to pick up and is good for the teeth.
