This food contains a low phosphorus content and a moderate level of high-quality proteins to support kidney function.

Adapted energy content

The recipe's adapted energy content allows for smaller portions per meal, which can help compensate for a reduced appetite in some cats.

Aromatic selection

This food has a specific aromatic profile to stimulate your cat's appetite, particularly if food is being refused. The special round shape, size and texture of the kibbles provide an additional stimulating effect.

This product is a veterinary diet from the Veterinary Health Nutrition range by ROYAL CANIN®. It is therefore important that this food is only fed on the recommendation of a veterinary surgeon. This helps ensure that your pet receives exactly the food it needs. Any change of food should be made carefully and gradually over a period of 7–10 days. Pay attention to the correct portion size, particularly when combining wet and dry food.

Suitable for mixed feeding
To meet the individual preferences of all cats, ROYAL CANIN® Renal is also available as wet food with small pieces in gravy and in three different aromatic profiles: chicken, beef and fish. It is also available with a mousse texture, as well as Renal Special and Renal Select dry food with kibbles in different shapes, textures and aromatic profiles.* Mixed feeding provides different textures, which can stimulate your cat's appetite. Wet food has a more intense aroma, and its moisture content helps regulate your pet's water balance. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to portion and helps support dental health.
