ROYAL CANIN® Renal Select is a balanced and nutrient-rich formula specifically developed to support your dog's kidneys in cases of renal insufficiency.

Support of renal function

This pet food contains a low phosphorus content and a moderate level of high-quality proteins to support renal function.

Adapted energy content

The adapted energy content of the formula allows for smaller portion sizes per meal, which can compensate for a reduced appetite in some dogs.

Aromatic selection

This pet food features a specific aromatic profile to stimulate your dog's appetite – especially when food is refused. The special crescent shape, size, and texture of the kibbles have an additional stimulating effect.

This product is a veterinary pet food from the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range. Accordingly, it is important that the pet food is only fed on the recommendation of a veterinarian. This ensures that your pet receives exactly the pet food it really needs. A change in diet should be carried out carefully and gradually over a period of 7–10 days. Ensure the correct portion size – especially when mixed feeding.

Mixed feeding possible
To cater to the individual preferences of all dogs, ROYAL CANIN® Renal Select is also available as wet pet food with fine chunks in gravy or with a soft mousse texture, as well as Renal and Renal Special dry pet food with kibbles in various shapes, textures, and aromatic profiles.* Mixed feeding gives the pet food different textures, which can stimulate the appetite. Wet pet food has a more intense aroma and its moisture content helps to regulate the pet's water balance. Dry pet food, on the other hand, is easier to consume and good for the teeth.
