Quiko Hand Formula for Parrots & Parakeets, 625 g

This nutrient-rich complete feed is suitable for hand-rearing and hand-feeding parrots and parakeets as well as orphaned songbirds living in the wild. With its high nutrient content, it supports the normal growth of the birds and readiness to feed.

Feeding recommendation:

• Disinfect all feeding utensils before use.
• Prepare the powder for feeding as per the table in the instructions for use.
• Mix Hand Formula with warm water in a clean, hygienic container to form a creamy mix.
• Leave the mixture to stand for 1 minute.
• Cool the mixture to 40°C.
• Feed the mixture using a disposable syringe or tube.
• The recommended feeding amount per meal is 10 - 12% of the bird's body weight.
• Fruit and vegetables in the form of pureed baby food are suitable as additives (this should not exceed 20% of the total food).
• Caution! Prepare fresh for each meal. Do not reuse the prepared mixture.

Recommended quantity:

• From newly hatched to 2 days: 1 part Hand Formula + 6 parts water
• 2 to 5 days: 1 part Hand Formula + 2 - 3 parts water
• 5 days until ready to feed: 1 part Hand Formula + 1.5 - 2 parts water
